Why I stopped blogging but has started again

It’s not new that people could get tired of what they do. This applies to most of us, especially when we don’t see much progress in a short span of time. And so am I one of these people too, I stopped blogging but am about to hit the keys again.

Blogging is not for everyone. Sounds familiar? You’ve probably read this somewhere but perhaps they’re missing some points.

When I say blogging is not for everyone, I meant it but like this. Everyone can make a blog, but not everyone can make it big.

That really hit my head. I said to myself “I could just be wasting my time. Why bother making a blog, run it, but don’t get much from it”. That’s what the old me would say, not now.

I realized that blogging may not make me “big time” but I enjoy doing it and I keep on coming up so I’ll truly continue the journey this time.

Who knows, maybe someday someone will actually read this and be motivated that I actually did it. May not be the biggest but that I actually made something for myself.

And that enough makes me want to continue.

So, let’s talk about somethings that I recommend to everyone who’s struggling.

Don’t sweat

Now, this will gonna cause outrage to every motivator out there but hear me out.

I assume that if you started to make your own blog then you must like the topic you’re writing about. If so, there’s no need to worry about everything.

If you like that subject then people with mutual interest would find their way to your blog or website.

Even though I only mention blogs, websites and other online applications apply too.

It isn’t necessary that you’re good at something you’re doing, as long as you really like it and know what to do, you’ll gonna be fine.

The more you read, the more you know

If you aren’t that good at what you do, then start reading something about it. And if you’re already good at it, reading further won’t hurt.

As they say, knowledge evolves and education never stops. You learn something new every day.

You can read whatever you like, it can be a book, a blog, newspapers, or just about anything that you can read.

Try to absorb the most important details and apply it to what you do. Because the more you know, the more you can write.

As a matter of fact, it’s just a cycle, you read so you’ll know. When you know, you’ll write. And then someone will do the same.

Take a break

Remember, you don’t need to write or do everything now.

You can take a break and it’s actually going to be better if you do.

Why? Simply because you can gather more info and expand your knowledge to add more to your blogs.

If you need to think of new ideas, then stopped writing and brainstorm or drink a cup of tea. By then you’ll get some ideas that could be added to your blog.

This is the one thing that I have been struggling in the past. I always try to write and finish an article the same day and so producing poorly structured text.

That isn’t something we want to do. Every word that we type should have their own value, every word counts.

Don’t just fill your blog with as many words as you can just because you want to reach 1,500 words or more. As long as it contains the things that your audience would read, you’re fine.

It’s not every day that we can think of something new, something unique that would actually catch our audience’s attention. So, don’t pressure yourself.

Remember that it’s your own blog, you can do whatever you want.

The things that would lie on your blog varies on which niche you are actually in but that doesn’t mean that you need to write only about your niche and not include something from different ones.

Your only limit is you. As long as you can write it or would hire someone to write it, it can find itself on your blog.

Have a nice day and I hope you don’t leave blogging anytime soon and if you do, I wish you’d come back!
